Quarter Summary I Riskified Cares

At Riskified, we believe that making a difference isn’t just part of our mission, it’s part of who we are as a company. Employees are united by a shared passion to make a tangible impact on the  local communities where we work, from donating to personal causes,  to donating time and training to students and professionals, to honoring reservists, to caring for the environment. Our actions reflect the wide range of interests and diversity of our team.. Here’s a look at what we accomplished this quarter:

Laptop Donation Project: Empowering Students Through Technology
Riskified Cares donated 137 laptops from our Tel Aviv, New York, and Shanghai offices to NGOs supporting education, youth, and inclusion. In Tel Aviv, laptops went to students at Sapir College, Mitchashvim, and Tikkun Olam Makers (TOM); in New York, to Suit Up, City Tutors, and Tech Kids Unlimited; and in Shanghai to Meng Ban Village middle school in Yunnan Province serving a lower socioeconomic community. Each laptop was delivered in a custom case with a charger, ensuring comfortable and practical use. The laptops provide students, including those from disadvantaged communities, students with special needs or disabilities, and students who live in war-zones whose education was disrupted, with access to online learning, creative tools, and educational resources. By bridging the digital divide, this project opens doors to opportunity and demonstrates how cross-office collaboration can turn meaningful reuse into real, lasting social impact.

Maat Lecture: Preventing Sexual Violence Online

We partnered with Ma’at, a nonprofit dedicated to preventing online sexual violence, to host a powerful session for employees and their families. The lecture, led by Ma’at’s founder and digital investigator Naama Feilchenfeld, covered real-life stories, how offenders operate, and practical strategies for protecting children online, especially teens, as screen time increases. Open to all employees and their partners, the session provided tools to create safer digital spaces while addressing real-life family challenges. By delivering this seminar, Riskified Cares aligned its mission with social responsibility: empowering employees with knowledge, fostering safer communities, and teaching concrete ways to make the online world a better and safer place.

Tours for Reservists & Supporting Tour Guides
This summer, over 160 of our employees who are reservists and employees who are partners of reservists joined 12 exciting tours and workshops across Israel. From culinary workshops and art sessions to family-friendly hikes, city explorations, and food tours, there was something for everyone. These experiences blended history, culture, and wellness, giving our team a chance to relax, recharge, and be together with their loved ones. The initiative celebrated those who serve while also supporting local tour guides and small businesses, creating meaningful connections with colleagues and communities alike. It was a summer full of discovery, reflection, and shared moments, providing some time off and turning it into a truly enriching adventure.

Summer Volunteering in Tel Aviv: A Season of Impact
We brought employees together for a season full of meaning, creativity, and connection. Over 100 hours of volunteering were dedicated to supporting local communities through hands-on activities. Highlights included Surf & Impact with Al HaGal Surf, where employees enjoyed surfing, mindfulness, and beach games while supporting youth at risk and trauma survivors; Art for Healing at Hormesis Club, where employees and kids created uplifting art for a treatment center in Kibbutz Be’eri; and a Sustainability Workshop at Dizengof Center, building benches and planters for Kibbutz Manara and exploring the rooftop urban farm. This initiative not only provided tangible support but also created moments of healing, joy, and lasting connection for both employees and the communities they served.

Shanghai Volunteering: Spreading Kindness Across Borders
In our Shanghai Office, Riskified employees engaged directly with the local community at the Bao’en Ancient Temple, helping clean and refresh the space that now shelters dogs and cats. From playful puppies to adorable kittens, our team contributed time, energy, and plenty of cuddles, supporting the shelter’s vital work and the animals awaiting their forever homes. Our employees positively impacted over 200 people and animals

Swag Donation: Turning Brand into Good
Riskified Cares donated hundreds of branded items, including clothing, notebooks, and office swag, to local charities.

SuitUp Business Competition: Empowering Future Entrepreneurs
Riskified hosted its first NYC volunteering event of the year in partnership with SuitUp, welcoming middle school students from an underserved community to our office for a hands-on business competition. Employees served as team coaches and judges, guiding students as they designed new features or products for one of Riskified’s merchant partners and pitched their ideas for prizes. Through mentorship and experiential learning, students discovered their passions, developed teamwork skills, and gained confidence, while our employees had the chance to inspire, engage, and make a tangible impact in the lives of the next generation.
