Small Actions, Big Impact: Riskified Cares in Action, Q4 ‘25 Edition

At Riskified, we believe that making a difference isn’t just part of our mission, it’s part of who we are as a company. Employees are united by a shared passion to make a tangible impact on the  local communities where we work, from donating to personal causes, to donating time and training to students and professionals, to honoring reservists, to caring for the environment. Our actions reflect the wide range of interests and diversity of our team. Here’s a look at what we accomplished this quarter:

Painting Israel Yellow

To mark two years since the tragic events of October 7th, Riskified joined the Painting Israel Yellow campaign led by the Hostages and Missing Families Forum. Across social media channels, employees updated company logos to yellow as a public call for the return of hostages, showing solidarity with families and communities affected by the crisis. The initiative provided a visible reminder to our networks that the situation remains urgent and that support is ongoing. Internally, it sparked conversations and reflection among employees, creating a shared sense of purpose and awareness across offices. By combining public visibility with internal engagement, the campaign reflected Riskified’s commitment to standing with communities during moments of collective need.

Hazit HaBait Volunteering: Rebuilding a Sense of Home

Employees in Israel volunteered with Hazit HaBait, an organization dedicated to supporting families of hostages, returning hostages, and evacuees. Teams traveled to Ein HaHoresh to renovate and paint furniture, including tables, chairs, and shelving, helping create warm, functional spaces for families whose lives have been disrupted. Beyond the physical improvements, the work provided families with a tangible sense of care, showing that communities can come together to rebuild hope and normalcy. Volunteers engaged directly with residents, listening to stories, sharing time, and bringing attention to the personal impact of ongoing crises. The initiative highlighted how small, focused actions — like painting a room or repairing a table — can ripple into lasting emotional and practical support.

Panel of Resilience: Listening to Families

Riskified hosted an internal panel featuring family members of hostages, including colleagues Orit Mantzur and Devora Fuchs, cousin of Shiri Bibas. The session allowed employees to hear firsthand about the experiences of families affected by the crisis, asking questions and reflecting on personal narratives that are rarely public. The discussion was deeply moving, emphasizing resilience, hope, and the importance of community support. For employees, the panel created a moment to connect emotionally, consider the wider impact of their volunteering, and strengthen empathy across teams. By prioritizing listening and understanding, Riskified reinforced its culture of care and attention to human experience alongside action.

Cafe Otef Initiative

Riskified distributed Cafe Otef fanny packs to employees, with all proceeds going directly to rebuilding communities in the Otef Gaza region. Each pack served as a small token of awareness, connecting employees to the local communities affected by the ongoing challenges, while also raising funds for reconstruction and support efforts. The initiative encouraged employees to participate in a practical way, contributing to real-world outcomes while fostering understanding of the challenges faced by residents in the south. By blending employee engagement with direct community impact, the campaign reinforced Riskified’s mission of thoughtful, actionable support.

Breast Cancer Awareness in New York

In New York, employees partnered with Pink Aid, a nonprofit supporting low-income breast cancer patients. Volunteers assembled “bags of compassion” filled with essentials such as hygiene products, cozy items, and personal care supplies, while also writing individualized notes of encouragement. Each bag was designed to alleviate stress and provide comfort, helping patients focus on recovery rather than financial burdens. Employees reported that interacting with the process — preparing items, thinking about recipients, and seeing the direct impact of their work — made the experience deeply personal and meaningful. By combining awareness, empathy, and practical support, the initiative strengthened community ties and contributed to health and well-being.

Thanksgiving with Hamilton-Madison House

Continuing a longstanding tradition, Riskified volunteers partnered with Hamilton-Madison House on the Lower East Side to pack and deliver Thanksgiving food pantries for local seniors and families in need. Employees spent the day assembling boxes of food, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring that every recipient had a meal to share during the holiday season. The hands-on effort created opportunities for employees to engage directly with their community, understand local challenges, and make a tangible difference in people’s lives. Through this initiative, Riskified reinforced its commitment to food security, dignity, and community care during the holidays.

Tokyo Merchant Volunteering

Riskified hosted its first-ever merchant volunteering event in Tokyo in partnership with Hands On Tokyo. Employees and merchant partners worked side by side on community projects addressing local needs, from environmental cleanup to assistance programs. The collaboration strengthened relationships between Riskified and its partners, highlighting shared values and a commitment to giving back beyond business priorities. By participating directly, employees experienced the power of collective effort, while local beneficiaries received hands-on support that extended beyond traditional volunteering models. The initiative set a new precedent for joint corporate and partner engagement in meaningful social impact.

UK Holiday Charity Campaign

In the UK, Riskified launched a holiday charity campaign empowering partners, employees, and community members to vote for the causes that mattered most to them. Based on votes, donations were directed to five organizations: Future Dreams (breast cancer support), Great Ormond Street Hospital (children’s healthcare), Dogs Trust (animal welfare and rescue), St John Ambulance (emergency response and first aid), and Shelter (housing and homelessness support). The campaign combined engagement, choice, and direct impact, allowing the Riskified community to shape giving in ways aligned with their values. By handing decision-making to the community, the initiative strengthened connection and ensured that resources were allocated to meaningful causes.
