Riskified had the opportunity to attend and exhibit at two great industry events in April –
Magento’s Imagine Commerce summit and Demandware’s XChange show. We met fascinating people and heard many insightful panel discussions, and wanted to share our impressions.

The atmosphere at the Magento Imagine 2015 summit was like that of a big, multi-national party. We enjoyed attending a happy hour event where some of Magento’s high profile merchants were showcased – including Hermes, Garrett’s Popcorn and BRG Sports. The show was also a good chance to reconnect with partners, such as system integrator Corra and website management and creation company Shiptronix. It was nice to see many system integrators from around the world – Australia, Singapore, India – indicating the global success of Magento’s platform.

But it wasn’t all game. Magento leadership is putting in extra hours trying to make the platform even better for everyone. Our team participated in surveys to help come up with creative ways to foster community among Magento merchants. On this note, we’re excited and honored to announce that Riskified is taking part in Magento’s validation program, which is designed to help ensure smoother integration of plugins.

The Demandware XChange conference was also a blast – the platform is growing and bringing on awesome brands. Demandware is a great community and the content is always top notch. In our opinion, the best presentation was Scott Galloway, professor at NYU and founder of L2. Our team was pretty psyched about seeing Billy Beane (GM of the Oakland A’s and subject of best seller Moneyball).

Now that the Riskified cartridge is certified, some great brands using the Demandware platform are coming on board – including Quiksilver and Burton – both leveraging our solution as part of an expansion process. Working with Demandware retailers, most of which have an in-house fraud process that relies on manual review, is very exciting for us. We trust that our end-to-end approach to risk management can and will positively impact the effectiveness of these global brands and support their ongoing expansion and growth.

This month we’ll be taking part in the Card Not Present expo in Orlando, Florida (May 18-21), as well as in the MRC European Congress in Brussels (May 20-22). If you are attending – you’re welcome to drop by our booth. We’d love to meet you!
